The biggest solo fripSide concert to date is taking place next month, on 1 March 2015 at Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan.
fripSide consists of a duo, composer and synthesizer Satoshi Yaginuma and vocalist Yoshino Nanjo. They also recently performed at Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2014 I Love Anisong Concert back in Dec 2014, performing their most popular hits from the anime “To Aru Kagaku no Railgun”, as well as their latest single “Black Bullet” and other songs from their recently released album, Infinite Synthesis 2.
Besides Anime Festival Asia, fripSide has also performed at major events such as Animelo Summer Live and ANIMAX MUSIX. Their immense popularity led to their announcement at Animelo Summer Live 2014 that they would be concluding their tour with a new stop at Yokohama Arena, a much larger venue than their previous tour stops. With a capacity of 17,000 and tickets already sold out, expect fripSide to deliver an awesome concert to a packed venue.
With the upcoming stop being so important, fans are anticipating the announcement of a new single or other related announcements during the concert. fripSide’s overseas fans in Asia are also eagerly awaiting their return to perform in Asia. Let us look forward to seeing fripSide again soon!
