Coming to Singapore on 18 Oct 2014 is the Queen of JPOP, Ayumi Hamasaki! Here for 1 night only, she would be performing at the Marina Bay Sand’s Master Card Theatre along with many of the artistes under the invitation of the Avex, one of the biggest Entertainment company from Japan.
This is much like a happy reunion given that the diva’s first overseas performance was in Singapore, where she was awarded MTV’s “Most Influential Japanese Singer in Asia” in 2002. A-Nation coming to Singapore especially with Ayumi Hamasaki after a 12 years gap, got us really excited and looking forward to it.
Ayumi Hamasaki, one of the most talented Lyricist!
If you still don’t know, from her first single, she has been writing her own songs. Producing lyrics that are either meaningful, and tells a beautiful story. In her later singles, if you see lyrics by Crea, its by Ayumi. Not many artistes can reach her level of proficiency, except for the talented few.
“Dearest” a song depicting her love, is an example of how passion and her personal history are written into the form of a song.
FYI: Dearest might sound familiar to you because it was featured as the ending them song for the popular anime series “Inuyasha”
