We don’t know about you, but we’re still reeling from the finale of Aldnoah.Zero‘s first season. But it won’t be long before we know what’s in store for the show’s (remaining) characters. A subtitled teaser video posted to AniplexUS’s YouTube channel reveals that the show’s second season will premiere on January 2015.
In addition, promotional posters for the second season, such as the one below, have been spotted in areas such as Shinjuku:

Aldnoah.Zero is an original mecha anime directed by Ei Aoki, while Gen Urobuchi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Psycho-Pass) is credited as the original creator. The soundtrack was provided by composer Hiroyuki Sawano. The show is set in the year 2014 of an alternate Earth, where war has broken out between Earth’s forces and Mar’s Vers Empire. The series began airing at the beginning of this year’s summer anime season and ran for 12 episodes.
