Looks like we’re about to say goodbye to Aladdin, Alibaba, Morgianna, Sinbad, and the rest of Magi’s colorful cast. This is because Weekly Shonen Sunday’s Web Sunday website revealed that the manga will be ending.
According to Websunday’s announcement, Shinobu Ohtaka’s popular fantasy manga will be ending in four more chapters. This announcement comes in the same month as the release of the manga’s 35th volume.
The manga, which takes inspiration from the Arabian Nights, features some of the tales’ classic characters. These include Aladdin, Alibaba, and of course, Sinbad, who also has his own Adventure of Sinbad spin-off manga. The anime gained plenty of success, and even got two TV anime adaptations. As for the Adventure of Sinbad spin-offs, it also got an anime adaptation, including several OVAs and a TV anime.
