A sixth TV anime season of Natsume’s Book of Friends may be in the works. This is because Episode 11 of Natsume’s Book of Friends 5 has announced that there will be a sixth anime.
They also revealed that the new anime is officially titled Natsume Youjin-Chou Roku. Of course, in Japanese, “Roku” means “Six”. The current fifth season is titled Natsume Youjin-ChouGo, which means “Five”.
The reveal also announced that this sixth anime will be premiering sometime in 2017. However, we still do not know what this sixth anime will be, whether it be an OVA, film, or a TV anime. They will be announcing more details about this new anime in the days ahead.
