Last August, BS SKY PerfecTV! aired a 7-episode TV series based on Wataru Watari’s cycling manga, Yowamushi Pedal. Now, they have announced that that very TV series is getting itself a sequel. The announcement was made via a video posted on the TV show’s official twitter page.

This second season will be continuing where the first one left off, and will be following the manga’s inter-high arc. The cast from the first season are all returning, with many of them reprising their roles from the live-action stage play.
They also announced that BS SKY PerfecTV! will be airing the sequel TV series in 2017.
