Universal Studios’ Japan has an annual tradition of trying to appeal to foreign visitors with their Cool Japan exhibition, which showcases Japanese pop culture (video games, manga, and of course, anime). For next year’s exhibition, the Osaka-based theme park is adding in Gousho Aoyama’s hit manga series, Detective Conan.
This new Detective Conan attraction will fittingly be a Real Escape Game, which will have participants try and solve mysteries and puzzles in order to diffuse a bomb which was created by a mysterious criminal organisation.
The theme park will be holding the event at stage 18, and it requires a separate ticket to get inside the Cool Japan exhibition. Included in the exhibition are the Evangelion XR Ride, Godzilla the Real 4D, Attack on Titan the Real 4D 2, and Monster Hunter the Real attractions.
