Yo-Kai Watch and McDonald’s have held a special partnership through the years, and in this latest collaboration, they’ve made three of the series’ youkai man the stations at a local McDonald’s chain restaurant in Japan.
The collaboration is part of a 40-minute DVD which will also feature two anime episodes. It will feature Jibanyan, Komajiro and Komasan working at a Mcdonald’s restaurant and doing stuff employees usually do, like manning the register and flipping burgers.
The DVD will be released on 2nd November, and will be released alongside a special Yo-Kai Watch calendar, which will be featuring a few original illustrations.
Yo-Kai Watch collaborations have been quite lucrative for McDonald’s back in Japan, resulting in long lines which stretch outside the stores and sold-out Happy Meals.
