Sphere (スフィア) will be celebrating their fifth anniversary with their first live concert in Nippon Budoukan!
Sphere Live 2014 [Start Dash Meeting Ready Steady 5th Anniversary in Nippon Budoukan] (スフィアLIVE2014「スタートダッシュミーティング Ready Steady 5周年！ in 日本武道館」), will be on two consecutive dates, 1 Feb, 2 Feb 2014. Sphere is a four-member female seiyuu pop vocal unit under the label GloryHeaven. Members were selected through an seiyuu-specific audition organised by Music Ray’n in 2005-2006. They first started as a group singing song covers for live events from 2007, and formally debuted in 2009 as the unit Sphere. Of course, not forgetting when they came to Singapore their very first overseas live performance at Anime Festival Asia Singapore in 2012!!
Their first single, Future Stream, was the opening theme song for Hatsukoi Limited (First Love Limited). Incidentally, members Kotobuki and Toyosaki were casted as Koyoi and Rika in Hatsukoi Limited. Of course, many of their subsequent releases were featured as opening and ending theme songs to anime series with members doubling up as cast members. Other memorable releases include: MOON SIGNAL (Otomo Youkai Zakuro), REALOVE:REALIFE (Ichiban Ushiro no Dai Maou), HIGH POWERED (Shinryaku! Ika Musume), and most recently Sticking Places (Yuusha ni Narenakatta Ore wa Shibushibu Shūshoku o Ketsui Shimashita).

Notable roles: Saki Rukino (Valvrave the Liberator), Mari Maya (Samurai Flamenco), Morigiana (Magi), Asuna Yuuki (Sword Art Online)
Talented and eccentric, she gives the group much personality and idol- quality. She has also released 12 singles and 2 albums, with her album Sunny Side Story reaching as high as 5th on the Oricon Weekly Chart last year.
Minako Kotobuki (寿 美菜子)
Born: 17 Sept 1991
Hometown: Hyogo
Interest/Specialty: singing and playing piano accompaniment, sports
Notable roles: Tsumugi Kotobuki (K-On!), Karina Lyle/Blue Rose (Tiger & Bunny), Natsuhi Takenaka (Ro-Kyu-Bu!), Mitsuko Kongou (Toaru Majutsu no Index and Toaru Kagaku no Railgun)
Known as the best dancer in the group, and for being supremely talented in harmonisation. She also has six other singles and one album, My Stride (8th on the Oricon Weekly Charts), released under her own name.
Ayahi Takagaki (高垣彩陽)
Born: 25 Oct 1985
Hometown: Tokyo
Interest/Specialty: Drawing, collecting straps, sundance, vocal music, instrumental music, theatre and opera appreciation
Notable roles: Nina Antalk (Chrome Shelled Regios), Erika Karisawa (Durarara!!), Kuro (Ao no Exorcist), Tamako Inada (Gin no Saji)
Easily the best singer in the group, she also holds a music degree from Musashino Academia Musicae in voice performance.
Aki Toyosaki (豊崎愛生)
Born: 28 Oct 1986
Hometown: Tokushima
Interest/Specialty: Drawing, movies, concerts, drinking coffee, guitar, pictorials, sports (basketball)
Notable roles: Yui Hirasawa (K-on!), Kon (Tokyo Ravens), Ai Astin (Kami- sama no Inai Nichiyoubi), Inga (UN-GO)
On top of her sweet looks and cute vocals, she is instrumentally skilled with the acoustic and electric guitar. She has released 10 singles and 2 albums under her own name, with her 4th single SHUN PU 春風 reaching 5th on the Oricon Weekly Charts.
