It’s one of the biggest mysteries in the history of Japanese animation and manga, what does Kakashi Hatake really look like?! With the upcoming Naruto Exhibition opening this Saturday, we might finally get some answers.
The Shinden Fuu no Sho, the event’s official guestbook, will contain illustrations made by Naruto creator, Masashi Kishimoto himself. It also comes with new manga pages as well as a dialogue between Kishimoto and fellow Shounen Jump! mangaka and long-time rival, Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece. However, the guestbook has something even more special as there is news that it might actually reveal Kakashi’s face.
This guestbook, which costs 1,300 yen, will be released when the exhibit begins in Tokyo’s Mori Arts Center Gallery on 25 April. The Naruto Exhibition will be held in Tokyo until 28 June before heading over to Osaka’s Osaka Cultural Center from 18 July to 27 September 2015.
Hopefully, when the guestbook is released, we won’t get another “Under the mask is another mask” reveal.
